I greatly enjoyed this video. I enjoy milking a cow every year at the state fair. I am as senior & wear the sticker proudly, I MILKED A COW! Milk is my choice beverage. I drink at least 2.5 gallons a week myself. I was amazed how every year the barn area we milk the cow. Is so very, very, CLEAN!
Thank you Robin, we are so glad that you enjoyed the video and that you love milk!

DID NOT KNOW SOME FARMS ARE MILKING 3 TIMES A DAY–NOT SURE WHY???
farm kid myself, we always milk cows. I remember the day a hundred holstein calves arrived in a double decker semi with babies 3 days to just over 24 hours old. We set straw bales and hung buckets with milk formula, until they were able to be weaned, some took a little longer, not one died. They grew for two years and were not bred until then, Dad always they needed to mature to have healthy babies and safer for both. Yes, I milked and upon arrival they had names with in the first 24 hours. Dad had a milkhouse added to the barn with a holding area and 3 walls one side left open easier to haul manure, the water tank with floater keep the girl’s watered even when waiting to be milked, it was pit style. We had to keep it super clean to stay on grade a with a huge milk tank.
