Hot Cocoa: 6 Ways

Nothing warms you up on a cold winter day quite like a cup of hot cocoa, and these easy recipes made with chocolate milk are sure to do just that!

For each of the recipes, stir the listed ingredients into 8 ounces of chocolate milk and microwave on HIGH for 2-3 minutes or until heated. Let stand for 2 minutes, then enjoy.

Malted Chocolate Cocoa

Add 2 tablespoons malted milk powder, 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Garnish with 3 chopped malted milk balls or chocolate sprinkles.

Chocolate Almond Cocoa

Add 1/4 teaspoon almond extract and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract. Garnish sliced almonds.

Chocolate Mint Cocoa

Add 8 miniature chocolate-covered mint patties, quartered. Heat until melted. Serve warm or cool. Garnish with mint leaves.

Chocolate Strawberry Cocoa

Add 2 tablespoons strawberry milk-flavoring power and 1/2 teaspoon honey. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries.

Chocolate Turtle Cocoa

Add 1 tablespoon caramel ice cream topping and 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup. Garnish with pecan halves or chopped pecans.

Chocolate Peanut Cocoa

Add 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter. Garnish with chopped peanuts.
